Here is a master list of all my “Supernatural” drabbles (100 words exactly), for my own reference and for the convenience of anyone who’s interested.

The entire list, complete with links to my journal entries, is under the cut. )

I haven't written anything here in months. Since Halloween. I've been watching Supernatural, I just haven't felt the need to comment on it. Until now.

Anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled shoudn't read under the cut. )

Here I am again. It's my day, December 21st, my (gosh third) birthday as a fanfic writer when I look back over the year and think about what I accomplished.

I continued writing for "Supernatural". I got to a grand total of 100 drabbles written for "Supernatural", timed (not coincidentally) to coincide with Halloween. And then I stopped.

I dunno, I guess I just haven't been feeling very creative lately. I've had lulls before, and I always wonder if they're permanent or temporary. I guess I'll find out.

I wrote a lot of good drabbles -- drabbles that I enjoyed writing. You can go back to my post where I celebrate 100 drabbles for a full overview. I wrote a handful of longer fics, most of them in the "Forgotten" verse. (Hee! I have a 'verse!) which is all Dean/Jo. We haven't seen Jo for ages now, but the verse has a life of its own. I suspect that if I write any more, there's at least one more story to tell in that verse. Their daughter has a voice of her own that I can still hear.

My personal favorite has to be a fic I wrote called "Bellis Perennis". I started with the goal of writing something that could be a standalone episode of the show. No ships or guessing where canon is headed, just a monster of the week. I didn't get many reviews for it, and one of my most vocal reviewers liked it but (very politely) thought it felt unfinished. Which has more to do with my writing style than a lack of ideas -- people don't complain that drabbles feel unfinished; it's part of the territory.

I don't know if I'll write any more or not. And I tend not to read when I'm not writing, I'm not really sure why.

But we thank you for your support.

Happy Halloween, everyone!

I have now written 100 drabbles. A hundred! 10,000 words - exactly - about how I imagine the life and times of the Winchester family, and the people, places and things they've encountered.

I've written episode tags and crossovers, tales of childhood, romance and the apocalyspe, dialog-only and monster point-of-view. I told stories that were deadly serious, cuddly cute, full of angst, and just plain silly. I tried to make chickens and a Christmas tree as menacing as possible and used a bad pun as a monster. I experimented with quoting Shakespeare and wrote from the perspective of a plastic army man. I wrote stories that didn’t even impress me, and discovered that Supernatural fans love a certain ghost-hunting dog.

I've liberally sprinkled my drabbles with cultural references: King Arthur, Stephen King (more than once), The Twilight Zone, Where the Wild Things Are, Men in Black, a jump rope chant, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, He-Man, Greek mythology, Care Bears, H.P. Lovecraft, the Billy goats Gruff, Brigadoon, Bugs Bunny, the Saw movies, Fringe and the Morton salt girl. To name only a few.

And scattered in with all of these, I created ordinary hunts like those you might see on an average Thursday night.

They're not all great, I admit that, but I've been having fun writing these drabbles, 100 words at a time. So thanks for reading them!

Hey, guys, I'm back!

(Crickets.)

I decided to take some time off this summer. My creativity was waning, I had summery things to do, so I dropped off the face of the planet. (No visits to the netherworld on my agenda, though.)

Yesterday, I watched the repeat of the season three finale. I'm ready for the new season to start. Today, I started writing again -- I finished one untrimmed drabble and wrote another one. I'll post them shortly.

I know one thing. The rest of you have put some fun fics out there while I didn't exist. I look forward to reading them.

Now, let's get this season started!
